One of the best POV I’ve ever seen a 100 on black bear - 👍 Nice Craig!

Btw it was closed last week due to a rock/mud slide past the bottom of the steps after the waterfall
Thank you Andrew.

All photo credit goes to Chris Price. We saw the news about the mudslide and closure. Underscores how we need to carry blankets, water, and emergency food for a few days should that happen. Adam is all about Colorado trails now. It was good to see you again my friend.

Just a few 100 series pictures from the July 23rd Toyota Trucks of Arkansas (TTA) meet. We had approximately 70 TTA members in attendance. I will post more about the event overall in the Clubhouse section. It was a great time to be around this big group of Toyota Truck owners.

Special thanks to @TheForger for providing the Toyota Trucks of Arkansas bottle openers. It really helped to make this a great event for everybody who attended.

uHIH picture. My youngest son Adam driving Black Bear Pass in July. It was a learning experience for him driving it as well as for me being a passenger. Photo credit Christ0pherPrice @ Instagram. Sam Prokop spotter. @Bisho @TheForger @abuck99 @geanes

I was waiting to see some pictures from the July CO outing. Not much was posted here, is there a separate thread for all this eye candy?

Those will start rolling out soon. Many hundred of not into a thousand pictures to work through. Lots of photographer talent on the trip.

Can you drive down to that hot spring in the bottom picture?
Yes you can. There’s a hot spring on both sides but the “better one” is a water crossing, you can also just cross the water without your vehicle and walk 5-10 minutes up to the spot.

Our new to us 2004 LX470. So far she has been a comfortable highway cruiser and shows promise as a family off-road exploration vehicle.

A new set of BFGs are in the near future for traction and puncture resistant peace of mind for off highway travel. Additional modifications needs will be determined after spending some time learning what the LX needs to fit our travel/camping style.

100 series recovery party. Got it rubber side down, pulled the plugs and blew out some oil. Drove out under its own power.
