Ran the Bald Mountain Jeep Trail in SW VA on Friday during a weeklong camping trip with the family in PA and VA.
Several water holes on this trail, and none I had an issue with last year, but there was a lot of rain on Thursday.
I tried to be careful and check all holes with a stick for depth. None were a concern and then I didn’t check one..::it was pucker-factor deep (for me). I lock my front (only) locker and go really slow for these (like 3 mph), and still had a bow wave we could see past the front edge of the hood—at least halfway up the grille.
Pine needles on grille and line on radiator to indicate depth….
And airing back up on Skyline Drive afterward….

I didn’t, because I kept moving and have raised breathers all ‘round, so didn’t think there was anything of concern, but is there somewhere I should look?

I made the roof rack myself just finished it up this past Friday. Took me forever to finish because of work and family. I would do it again and it would definitely be better

LMAO. It looks intimidating at first, I had this planned since October of last year but I was apprehensive to start it. Every step of the way I would get one thing done and then I would have to motivate myself to tackle the next challenge. If your want to do it, I'm putting tiger a little video of what and how I went about it. I think I'm a little over $500 to build it far cheaper than the premade ones. But because I lack things like a laser cutter I don't have fancy slots on the side rails lol

Did Rattlesnake Canyon, Burns Canyon and Heartbreak Ridge yesterday. Heartbreak was pretty intense. Question for the forum: I’m running 33s on a 2 in OME lift. At times yesterday I wish I had a little more clearance and tire size. My buddy was making it look easy on 35s in his 80 series. What do you think the ideal lift/tire size is For a 100 with a 4 speed transmission? (This isn’t my daily driver but I use it for surfing a couple times / week.)

Not an exact match, but the Prinsu rack is stylistically similar to the one on daohaus's rig if you didn't want to go the homebuilt route (and if he's not getting into the rack game any time soon).
