Decided to take a quick hike on Sunday afternoon. After our hike we got flagged down by a guy asking for help for his buddy that blew his transmission down at the bottom of a trail.

Ended up towing the guy about 4-5 miles up the mountain. The cruiser didn’t even know he was back there.

In the time it took us to get him hooked up we had two other jeeps stop and offer help and followed us out. the off-road community is great.

Plus a bonus pic of my daughter in her favorite post hike spot.

Went out wheeling in Antigo, WI today. Very first obstacle and I was stuck hopelessly!
had to winch myself out. @4LLC noticed that my rear wheels aren't turning at all and asked me if my CDL was on? Of course it wasn't - what a rooky mistake!

Doesn’t the CDL lock when you’re in low range?

Went on my first "lone" trip. No passengers or other company. Was a strange feeling. Absolutely nobody out on the trail and no idea what I would encounter. The road had just recently snow thawed.

Took my youngest boys on a nice loop near Corner Canyon, Price, UT. Plenty of off roading, waterfalls and cool rocks to gather.

No, there is a button to lock it.

I looked this up to clarify, according to the below link it automatically engages in low range for 1998/99 model years unless you do the pin 7 mod. 2000 and beyond apparently you still have to hit the switch in low range to lock the center diff.
