Awesome. Will be camping there 2 weeks from tonight. Three 100s and a 200.
Awesome! Take some good pics. You should havee free reign on backcountry sites. We went at a "busy" time and hardly saw anyone in the backcountry. I've always wanted to stay at the Candelaria campsite. Might want to scout that one out.

Did a quick trip to the east-central CA desert. Much colder than I thought it would be. Digi thermometer goes to 8 degrees, then malfunctions. It malfunctioned. Finished hiking, on the way to a campsite

Enough of the slow stuff. Time to hammer down. You better know where the two road wash outs are, though. It is rough and loose, and wash boarded in places, and all down hill. The heavy 100 gains speed faster than you realize.....

Erie sight with the haze, and salt flats...
The cost of the gas cans nearly paid for themselves lol. I would have been on E at this point. I do recommend their shakes at the mini-market. The shakes are in the same relative price range as the gas ( 8 bucks for a 24oz.). I paid 2.59 for premium at the Fort Independence gas station on the way up (on tribal land)
