other than the diamond plate this is one of the best, simple, trailer designs I have found.
if yall were to build this, would you do anything differently?

I think I would rather have 4x6 instead of 4x5.
Those taillights look like they are asking to be taken off, I think some 40 series lights would do better. or fab lights into the tailgate like they did with the ACC 80 series.

Trailer build

I have been really giving this some thought for a father/son project for this summer. I believe I can build the frame myself and the kit fit on to make a convincing M416 style box. I have a set of 35" Mickey T's and 15" mini truck rims to go on it already.

other than opting for square fenders (flat surface) thats close to what I hope to end up with.

the angled step/water can mounting area is exactly what I had in mind.

The dinoot is designed to bolt on to a harbor freight trailer. There is a thread about it in the trailer classifieds.

The HF trailer is a "turn key" solution for a trailer that will only be used on the highway. Building a 4X6 frame w/a 3500 lb axle is the off road option. They offer the trailer frame at a premium price. Much more expensive than building it yourself and having it shipped from Utah.

Yeah, but ya'll take your trucks off road, what, once a year at best? How many times will you take a trailer?!
Poking... so you can prove me wrong!

I'll pay for it and we'll call it "ours"... No.

We'll just sell you ours when we're tired of finding a member's driveway/garage/backyard to store it, LOL!

Ya'll built a club trailer?

Ima member of UC not GC. UC is almost done building out a trailer (in link above). We have a club EZ-up 10x20 and a Chef Mate 3 burner propane grill. All those will be stored inthe trailer.

nope, there was/is a correctly sized piece of tubing to sleeve it in the pile of parts at Keith's house but AFAIK it never got installed.

Oops. It got scrapped...
Them Jokes! What happens with Gold Digger, STAYS with Gold Digger!
It's all at Bossman's lair now.
That junk is going to Alaska!

There's a parking lot sale going on at harbour freight right now (online too) and the 12k winch is listed for $299. But I just picked up a winch for $240 shipped. Use the code 43119088 to get 25% off of the $299 price and it brings the total to $224.99 + $6.99 shipping + $9 tax= $240.98 Thanks to ERG80 for posting the coupons in his hf coupon thread he just saved me a ton of money.
