why is expecting accountability and professionalism out of police such a revolutionary idea?

and despite my tinfoil hat, i have faith in the justice system, the one that includes a speedy trial with a jury of peers. i know that kinks a lot of big brother government control plans but I think its the best system the world has come up with yet.
maybe one day we will have a perfect system, we dont have it yet, i dont know what the best system is, but i know the best system isnt a government oversight committee.

You are poking your chest out to this?! This generation that grew up with the beginnings of TV are extremely naive, even to their own devices. My grandmother was wise to the world. My mother is not, even though she is, if that makes sense. That whole generation believes they are saints, and they are not. The "Leave to Beaver" generation has ruined us. Because the world wasn't like Mayberry before them, and it sure ain't like it is now. But for some reason, they believe it used to exist... IT NEVER DID! It was just TV shows!

Eric, that "naieve generation" might be solely responsible for our current situation, and andy griffith may have appeared in a pro obama commercial later in life, those things are not relevant.
I posted the clip because of the lessons Andy was teaching 1) you cant break the law even against a criminal 2) everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
I had no idea that supporting due process was going to turn into this and lead to people comparing an accused murderer of 4 people to a fascist dictator that started a war that claimed 60 million lives.

Maybe that's your problem then. Law of Attraction is something you should study. No one action is larger or smaller than another. We as humans make that action right or wrong. Killing millions is no more worse than killing 4.
