July 4th weekend at stony lonesome. I know Eric is wanting to go I may be in for one day of it, but my son is at camp that week and we will be picking him up that weekend. I am up for the 4th at least.

Sounds fun to me. I bet the RV spots are already booked though...

What ever happened to you turning #6 into an EROCS racer? I figured with cramalot you would have the perfect combo now.

Sent from my iPhone using magic

It's expensive to equip myself. Being race-ready takes alot of cheddar, weekly.

Anyone want to drink Cahaba beer at my place this weekend on Saturday? I'm going to pick up a couple of 1/6 barrel kegs of their "Ain't quite right amber" and have some folks over. Open invite for DLC members to come help drink it.

Maybe me! I should be back in town for that. Getting the tundra back.

we are taking a group canoeing some time soon I have to check my schedule. but I would love to come up.
what should we bring? I think kait's bread made everyone uncomfortable last time...

Man, those green beans were awesome at the camp out. I didn't have a problem with the bread either. Bring whatever y'all want to, it'll be more than we had to begin with either way!

Dude her bread has always been awesome unless I miss that batch.
oh my god what is wrong with Google's voice to textI said batch and it typed fat bitch.

I had 5 minutes of a no start issue just now.

I stopped at the parts store to get power steering fluid, came back out, cruiser turns over, everything sounds good, but no start. My gut reaction was no fuel, must be a fuel pump fuse. Couldnt find that fuse.
went back in side asked for them to sell me a fuel pump fuse hoping for a diagram. they didnt have one.

went back out, still no start.

checked all the fuses under the hood, all appeared to be good.

store dude had printed off instructions for changing the fuel filter. cruiser was too hot to even touch, just sitting in direct sunlight, engine wasnt running hot.

I called kait, shes coming to get me, I am coming back after work with the no start trouble shoot instructions printed off.

got off the phone with kait, what the hell, try it one more time.

Starts. runs fine, no lights, no issues.

drive home, about 10 minutes, pull into a spot I can stand to be broken down in, shut it down, crank it up 2 or 3 times.

No issues, no problems.

that is when I thought it may have been a no spark problem, I dont know how to tell the difference. I have no experience with this, other than a jetta that would never crank when it was at operating temp (turned out to be the fuel pump, or at least the fuel pump died and after replacing it I never had a no start problem again)

happy hump day.

Sounds to me like your EFI system got hot. Did you notice if your CEL was not on when you were not getting cranking? This problem tends to happen mid summer like this when rigs are in parking lots after a quick run into the store... It's gotta cool down and then you can crank it. But a giveaway is that you have no CEL when you actually should when you turn your key to "on"

Also, beer this weekend, if you need my address, shoot me a PM. Kickoff at 7pm, I'm providing kegs, food will be "Bring a side" southern potluck style.

george dickel and sierra mist makes a 1/2 ass decent old fashioned. all things considered, its actually pretty passable.
