May or may not have helped Maffrew knock out a sliding glass window and install a new-to-him unit in about 15 minutes total work time.
WOOPOW!

Ok, need another person for skeeball tomorrow. Clank or Maffrew, either of y'all available?

It's cool. I was joking with Hal today that I never figured the married guy with an 18 month old would be the one who made every one of these things, lol.

I'm down possibly.

Works for me. Need to figure out what time we're supposed to roll.

6:45 for skeeball at cahaba brewing tonight.

I'll be there at 6:00 or so.

Clank, anyone else? My bro in law was gonna fill in, but he just bailed.

Well done Ah Skee Skee, glad that the team rolls on in my absence.

Likely sent from the bathroom stall using IH8MUD

Dang! I worked at Glacier one summer! St. Mary's Lodge right outside the East entrance... summer 95 I think... flipped "buff burgers" in the fastfood joint... loved every minute of it! God's Country up there...

My house sits on 1/2 basement 1/2 crawls pace. The PO had the crawl space plastic line and a dehumidifier installed.
Most of the crawls pace is your average height. But the last 4-6 feet, adjoining the basement is almost 10ft from the floor to the top. The basement part is less than 1/2 underground, built into the hill side. In other words not the ideal place to be during a tornado. Would putting a door through the concrete block wall that separates the basement and crawl space be cost prohibitive?

No I wouldn't screw with it. It is a little more involved than just knocking a hole in the block.

I know it'll be involved, but it wouldn't be more than starting from scratch with a storm shelter would it?
