And congrats on selling the house

thanks, hopefully the next move will have a garage.

Get one of those tiny houses you can tow with you everywhere
And congrats on selling the house
thanks,

I have really been considering it. I would want a 1 ton for it. Or not a tiny house, but just a camper trailer, I like this set up. 2005 F-450 4x4 Utility Body w/ Starcraft Pine Mountain Lonestar Pop-top Camper - Expedition Portal

I wouldnt need a truck camper we got an oz tent.

I think a jacked up van is about the most unpractical tow vehicle out there, but they are making it work. The More We Explore

Not really since I went deep cover a month ago. Digging out now. I did this today

Let's hear some projects worked on this summer.
I'll start with my '74 40 I got 2 years that was a junkyard offroader.
I previously did painless wiring, power steering and replacing/adding back factory interior parts.
This spring-summer I replaced the homemade 10 inch shackels (yea, seriously) a new rough country 4 inch leaf spring kit with MAF 1.5 shackels.
Next was to redo the bed where previous owners cut it up to fit a red plastic fuel cell.
My first time welding was new square tubes in rear that ended up to big and not allowing my new rear tank to clear. so I had to redo those welds and steel. at that point I decided to buy a reproduction rear bed. once fitting the supports and instslling the new bed, i redid all fuel lines and picked my brain for weeks on how to go about the fuel filler neck.
Here's some pic's of the progress. next year I'll need to redo brakes since I just blew both side rear drum brake cylinders and I hope to remove the diamond plate and restore back to original.

Anyone got major projects to finish?

I've got to install the hidden winch mount and finish my drawers in the LX.

finish? I still have to get started. We're saving for a GX to replace the kid hauling xc90 we have now. Once we have that I will drive the Volvo for a few months and catch up on all the maint and projects on my 80. sliders, lift, rear bumper, roof rack... or maybe start looking for a 40

I had a volvo S80 for the last two years that was nice, but hard AF to work on. Once the need bill got to be greater than the value of the car, I traded it in on the LX470 this summer. I still need sliders on the lx, but am going to focus on my wrangler with a OME suspension, rebuilding the dana 30 with 4.10 and ford explorer 8.8. I've got to decide if I'm going to install a TBI kit on the stock 258 with 71k miles, or do a full LS swap.

The need bill on our volvo crossed that line a while ago. It is terrible to work on.

60 got new kicks. Now I need to drop the ARB to the middle notch, get a lift, scrape the nasty tint off, and finish the desmog.
