Not sure how many of you guys have been pissed off about the gas can market over the past couple of years, but I sure have been. I got 7 Scepter cans and cleaned them all to use only to find out all the lids would leak after bouncing around a bit. Never trusted them since, and stopped putting them on my rack. I did not want the 'carb compliant' cans either...

I found these, and just got 7 brand new ones from the UK via Atlantic British (yeah the Land Rover parts guys).....

At 40 bucks each, they are about half as much as some others are going for, and nice heavy metal cans. Get em while you can.

PS- I did not share this on the open forum: I wanted to make sure you guys got your grubby hands on them first.

Yeah... it's funny, because the boxes say FUEL cans on them, and they stick that dumbass sticker on it for federal purposes LOL

I got a spout today to hook up on em, really nice.

They shouldn't leak at all anyway. Do you have a link for those seals? I haven't looked in the caps in a long time, but it seems that there is a piece that goes all the way through the center to hold them on after you unscrew them. Not a good design in my opinion.

If you put viton seals in those scepts you wouldn't have leaks.

Nice Score. I'm a plastic Scepter man myself though.
