Headed up Hwy 4 and decided to run up to Sourgrass/Boards Crossing trail.
With 12 rigs in a very nice group (mostly of the Toyota flavor).
We did not see much snow but came accross some nice ice flows.
My fam had a great time, unfoutunately I took next to no pics .:frown:
Hopefully other folks will post.

Im sure Alvaro will have a nice entry on the NorCal site.

The snow run trip reports are up on the trip blog section of the tlcwagons website

Thanks to Ernie and Ken for their contribution.

Beretta,

One of the things we worked on was driving on the rocks without using lockers. Instead we used the power brake technique. There was no need for an 80 series to use lockers on any obstacle.

Cool. When I was there it was wet and muddy. I also wasn't aired down. Tried the power braking, that didn't work either.

Got no fancy coordinates but real easy to get to.
Go up hwy 4, pass arnold and as you go into dorrington take a right up boards crossing rd .
this road goes up and over into the river canyon.
when you get to the bottom cross the river and enter the day use area.
The trail starts there.

ken
