how long did you wait? and how long was it before they were able to provide you with a VUN number. Its been 4 weeks, and i have yet to get a VIN, let alone any delivery date.
money's starting to burn a hole in my pocket.

I didn't get a VIN number until the vehicle was unloaded from the boat. It was about 5 weeks before I got the VIN number and then I got the FJ 2 days later.

i get different answers when i ask about where the truck might be, when i get a VIN number. so I am hoping that when i get the VUN, it will be when the truck is in country, so i wont wait too long.
i would like to get it before the camping trip in August.

When I said it's not a truck tire, I mean it is a P265/70/17. That is passenger car designation. If it were a truck tire, it would say LT265/70/17. It has to do with load carrying capacity. I don't mean that it belongs on a car, just that a truck would overload this tire. It isn't designed to carry much of a load.;)

Fair enough

I had a partial VIN when it was being built, then I had the full VIN as it was being put on the boat.

It took from one Friday to the next Friday to land in Portlands port, then it was down there until last Firday when it got loaded on the truck and left for Seattle at 5 PM last Friday.
Did not make it to my dealer though until around 2 PM this past Sunday.

Order went it the first of April, after putting down the $500 mid March.
Took a long time, but I got exactly what I ordered.

to bad you are in NJ. The FJC's are piling up here in Orange COunty, CA, of course the dealers are asking 3-5K over MSRP.
