Yeah, I was thinking about some solo runs but therell be more traffic than usual and Im sure the forest rangers will be busy so Ill just stay away.

I would avoid any solo wheeling adventures unless you know you can hike out from any point you plan to cover. I'm sure they will be busy if who ever is leading trail does not know what is legal and what is not. Most all of the "good old trails" in GWNF have been closed to ORV traffic.

Yeah, I do that more than I probably should but I have a pretty good sense of what to do and what not to do when by myself. Luckily, GWNF isnt too crazy remote. Ill be doing a lot of solo stuff around this time next month in Colorado

I got stuck three times when I lived out in Wyoming...once was in a mudhole in my 40 that I had crossed several times before. That took about a 3 mile hike out to the highway to get someone to come give me a tug.

The other time in my 40, the condensor went on the distributor. Luckily, when I didn't meet up with my roommate, he came out to where we were camping and picked my girlfriend (now wife) up.

Lastly, was the time that my roommates truck died. The f150 didn't want to start. Turned out being a bad control module on the distributor. We were out fishing a stream in the middle of no where. A 4 mile hike out and we were at the highway and hitched a ride into tow. I later pulled him home with my 40...a towstrap going down the road at 55 mph. Not really recommended, but this was Wyoming...

If you get stuck up near flagpole, come find me :grinpimp: I don't think there is very hard wheeling, but trucks do break down and there isn't always cell phone coverage up there.
