Sad, sad day at the Lex dealership. The LX570 is offered with 22 inch F sport forged alloys for $4489. Total price was $88,800.

I wonder how it rides with the low profile tires.

If its sad for you it doesn't mean that it is sad for a performance driven buyer. In my opinion these 22 TRD wheels are ok. They would look even cooler if they painted them black.

Also not my type actually, I am just saying its just 22 performance wheels on a luxury vehicle. What is so surprising about that. Its no 30 inchers anyway.

The only thing I like about the larger wheels is we could fit the TRD big brake kit in there. Can't with the 18"ers.

Have you looked into upgarding to Tundra 13.9" rotors and calipers? Should be bolt on... Actually, I'll know tomorrow as I have a Cruiser spindle coming... along with a few other Cruiser yums yums that the Tundra dosn't get.

You might be interested in these... I should have them in production soon, this is the prototype, it uses 18" wheels and the stock calipers, which are excellent.

Bull...as the 200-series is the best built LC to date. It's just very expensive. Not everyone needs their LC to be a Rock Crawler. For expo travel, reliability and the things that made the LC the best...the 200-series carries on the tradition.

Agreed.

The US market for LC's is VERY limited usually 1-2 trim models...in other parts of the world like OZ and the Middle East (larger Cruiser buying area in the world) they have many different trim models, maybe not with the 200 but in the other models you could get cloth seats and manual windows/door locks and of course the cheaper manual transmission...

Try $110,000, for a 09 LX570 in the Gulf Region.

True, that would happen ON the pavement in some areas I drive.

In the Gulf Region, I did see a 2008 LC200 GXR with manual transmission, it may even be available this year. You can still get cloth seats on the base G and GXR models. There are advantages to having many trim and engine packages, mainly price. Base G models are about $45K with V6, cloth seats, steel wheels, etc.
GXR ~$60K, cloth or leather seats, alloy wheels, dual spare tires, factory winch, V6 or V8.
VXR ~$70K (similar to USA model), navigation, KDSS, HID, leather, Optitron gauges, zoned aircon, etc., only 4.7 vvti V8 (5.7 is LX only).
Someone creative could upgrade a base model, does KDSS come in kit form (that would be my number one buy if it was in the aftermarket, along with a TRD supercharger)?

So Brian what were you findings? Are the tundra brakes bolt on like you thought?
