Woke up at 4:30 Tried to sleep for another hour. Useless.
Uhaul is loaded. Leaving for VT in about 45 mins.
123 is a lot more scenic, I'd go that way!
I've got to run to Staples and then to Home Depot for a tarp.

Welding class
So I'm in week 4 of welding and we spent 3 hours last night stick welding.
Much to my delight I find that I'm actually good at this! The equipment that we use is
top notch and I'm sure that helps.
This is the machine we've been using.
Miller - TIG Welders - Syncrowave 350 LX
Next week we start with the Mig.

Got my driveshaft straightened and balanced today. The guy was amazed how out of line it was. $65. nice!

Another Dad moment!
Late night out last night. Ian and I went to a local
Blues Jam open mic. We go most Thursdays to listen to the house band
and check out the people who get up to jam with them.
I asked Ian if he wanted to take his guitar but he said no.
We got there early and the band leader asked if either of us
wanted to sign up, I kind of pushed Ian into it, he was a bit hesitant.
He borrowed a Telecaster from the band and spent an hour and a half
playing with them. It was pretty cool when he launched into his first
solo and these 50 year old musicians look at each other with big grins
on their faces, you could see them saying "he's good"!
By 11 o'clock Ian was relaxed and having a great time!
He did thank me for pushing him to get up and play.
Only down side is he really liked the Telecaster and wants one!

Where is everyone?
I'm going to be going out with DWE tomorrow and
maybe Sunday. They will be running Carnage, Landslide
and Wambus. Should be a good time.

Not to be too mushy but I was just checking out a few other random clubs pages on this site and those people only seem to post every few days. It's cool that YT people are all so involved and have almost a daily, sometimes hourly, interaction.
Just an observation. Proves we're better than everyone else.

And a cage, lift, bigger tires, oem wheels, sliders, H55, diesel, paint, longfields, covers & foam for my new stock seats, my own trailer........ I'm sure I can think of other things too.
