Finally, found myself a decent one after the previous RJ77. Used as a family car for city daily driven machine, this unit is a 1995 Japan import model KZJ78. Below are some that has already been included which I reckon would be a good kick off point for the build.

▪ Stock 1KZ-TE engine
▪ Front mounted intercooler
▪ Twin 4" exhaust
▪ Additional steering stabilizer in the front
▪ OME Nitrocharger Sport shocks all around, stock coils
▪ 15X10 polished dish rims
▪ 32" AT tyres
▪ Seat wrapping
▪ 12" subbies with non-ported box 🤟

A little lift would be desirable while maintaining the engine setup (trying to keep the motor as stock as possible for reliability, she turned 300K's when I drove her back last week).

Some pics to illustrate the description, comments and suggestions are welcome. Cheers!

Congratulations for your new Land Cruiser, could you ask for more pictures of the area where the intercooler is and the pipes that attach it ?, I would like to install an inter to my 1KZ and I see that you see a good job there.

regards

a can of matt black will sort out those mufflers

really nice wagon
Thanks Willy. I have removed those mufflers out of the way *lol*

(Will save the black spray can for something else that I could blacked-out later)

Thanks Zorlac. I'll get back to you on this in about a month time, away from home now and she's sitting tight in the workshop for some touch up.

Hi @Zorlac, I have re-positioned the intercooler higher to give way to potential winch installation in future. Have a look at the pictures, hope this helps.

Some update on the build other re-positioning of the intercooler. Painted the undercarriage with some anti-rust, installed the 2" Pedders lift coils, full adjustable panhard rods, ATF temp gauge...and yes applied some black paints on the exterior :steer:

Would you happen to have where you purchased the intercooler from? Maybe some installation instructions as well? Thank you!

Sorry buddy for the very late reply, wasn't logged in for a while now. I need to dig with the professionals on the installation instructions as it was done before I purchased the car lol.
