This is at Rubicon Springs during Rubithon, which also happened to be a work party weekend for my club down there. We were using the property owners small backhoe to install a couple of the solar dehydrator outhouses that had floated away during the October flood.

Mark the caretaker was doing a great job of piloting the hoe, but on occasion has to take a strap to get over the larger stair steps.

I'm used to pulling jeeps over stuff :D, but pulling a backhoe over rocks on the Rubicon trail was rare enough for me to get some pix.

great pics - we use a Kubota like that (without digger and backhoe attachments) as an aircraft tug, they are fantastics machines. Mind you we cut down that huge roll bar so we can drive it under a wing without hitting anything!!!

How far did the Kubota have to drive to get there or did it get trailered :hmm:
