Hello,

I remember reading about one or two conversions of this kind in this forum. One of them was made in a 73 Series, if I remember correctly.

The search function is your friend.

there a few adaptors out there for the car guys, made for car transmissions, but the truck stuff either Toyota or aftermarket is incredibly hard to find.

All the bits and pieces needed to mate an H15X transmission to a 2UZ are readily available from Toyota. But, of course, not cheap.

revisting the thread

@Hulsty, i should mention i'm in the U.S., used parts are tough to find mate as i'm sure your aware we didnt get that combo here, Americans, you see, are generally a lazy bunch, everything is automatic, shopping, food orders, even vacuum claeners. do ya really think the average Yank wants to row gears? that would inerfere with the "super sized" Mackys order getting crambed down a triple chin on the move.

12HT also had the H15x trans? i thought it was just the H55

the sea of part numbers can really be something to wade through, but having tally'ed everything up ordering all the parts to put a H15x behind the UZ engine sitting in my shop is really not as spendy as i thought, maybe even doable.
