I'm not usually one for this type of thing being the sarcastic and cynical bastard I am but...

I want to send a sincere 'THANKS' on this Memorial Day to not only those who lost their lives in service for this country, but also those who lost loved ones, and those who have served in the past, as well as all of you who are currently serving or have loved ones who are.

I certainly don't always agree with the policies and politics of this nation, but regardless I enjoy an unprecedented level of personal choice and freedom, and those mentioned above are a part of that. For your service, for the life I am allowed, for that of my wife and child (coming attraction, check back in a few months), and for the freedom that we enjoy, thanks.

Truly and Sincerely,

DITTO.

To all of those who are or were in uniform, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY.

It is because of the Brave that we live in the land of the Free.

Thank you to all servicemen, past and present. You are all heroes in my mind.
