I brought my rig down to sonic and BMAN asked if the rack sat too high.
Told him it was the listed kit for the 60 and he said I should look into it.
8 phone calls and several measurements later and I dropped the rack as close to the roof as possible. Almost 2 inches lower!
The rack is an ORU Defender.
Get the HDS towers instead of the ones they list on their fitment chart!
Decent rack for the money.
I only had to pay $20 to ship some parts back.
Not bad.
Thanks for your help!

Sweet! It was more a matter of looks than anything else. It just "looked" like it was to damned tall. Glad it didn't cost ya an arm and a leg to get it dropped down to acceptable standards. 2" is a HUGE difference. Just ask any woman. ;);)

BMAN, you give rack advice?

(note to self: keep wife at home away from BMAN);)

Dude, I'm like that cat from VH-1 but without the hack medical license.

Hey, Cat! Bet you don't have bacon taped to you... or do you??!;)
