THANKS SOOOOO MUCH for coming to help me with that motor placement today!

I couldnt have done it without you guyz!!!!!

Got everything tacked in.
The motor pitch ended up at 4 deg. 1 deg lower than we were shooting for, but considering how much effort it was to get it to the point we had it...Im good with that.
I might be able to fudge it a bit when I build the t case x member too.

You guyz are the BEST!

A few pics for those of you who dont get over to the other sections much....

Thanks....
Its a dream that has been a LOOOOONG TIME in the making even if it is on a completely DIFFERENT rig than originally intended.
I was thinking about your situation...ever thought about the "old steel" solid axle rigs? When all is said and done, Ill have around 7K into this project...And look at all the FUN im having. Not that a 40 would be the answer, but a 60 with a vortec? Cheap, bullet proof lots of space...You could probably find one that is mostly done.
Just a thought.

It was great to have you there. Sorry that I didnt have much of an opportunity to chat with you guyz. I had a bit on my mind yesterday. My brain was going about a million miles a minute with that thing.

Oh I've been thinking about all the possibilities for some time...it gets more intense each time I have to fawk with the IFS front end. I've gotten so used to the Hundy cush I'm having trouble thinking of leafs again. You see once upon a time I had a '78 Cherokee wagon. It was one stiff mutha...and I've gotten nothing but older ;)

Found this through another good friend: Cummins Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80 - Turbo Diesel 29 MPG

If it was closer I'd go check it out and drive it!

You are very welcome. Glad we could help. Let us know when/if you need help with anything else.

I was happy to be there. It's nice to be able to do even a little to repay you for all the stuff you've done for me.

OOOOOOOH!
That's NIIIIIIIIZE!
Thats a hike for sure though.
Leaf sprung 60's are FAAAAR BETTER than the under. However, I dont think theyll ever compare to the ride the hundy has...

Looks like fun. Great oppurtunity to make it nice from the ground up. Wheelin by June???

Its a BIG stretch, but it COULD conceivably happen.

I appreciate it. I felt bad that I had you guyz hangin out while I was fabbin up that scab plate... I thought I might need you guyz for the tack in, but it went fine. Sorry about that.

Its karma! It always comes back around. Besides that...I love helping out where I can on the rigs. If I have something to offer (which isnt much), Im glad to do it.

BTW, I trimmed the PS fender...It didnt need NEAR as much as I originally thought! Pulled the motor back out and cleaned up a bit.
Next up is the t case/ dual case set up!
Oh yeah...the trans mount was on the factory tail housing of the trans. Kind of a bummer actually. Itd be nice to have one on the trans...

Thanks again and if any of you need...
hit me up!

Well I read more about it on eBay; nothing to be gained power wise so that won't do me any good.

Keith's going to help me SAS the spressowagon :D

Or unloading couches on short notice.;) That helped more than you know.

No worries. Glad to hear you didn't have to totally chop up your fender.

The good news is that the 203 adapter has a great looking mount built in.

Yeah! a basic 2 bolt design...I should be able to come up with something. Wanna skid plate it too even though it will be nice and pretty painted.

BTW, what did you and Rusty Dan come up with when you were messin around with the 203 and 19 spline split case adapter?
I heard SOME chatter, while I was cutting the scab plates, but never got a word on that project/ discussion.

Kens 80 + 5.7L vortec = :bounce::steer::bounce2:

An SAS on that thing would be ideal in your situation, but VERY cost prohibitive! Christ on a BIKE is that EXPENSIVE!
You could build 3 of my rigs for that ONE mod on the hundy.

I was STUNNED when you told me that!
