David,

You might want to move quickly on this trailer. The gentleman selling the trailer has a lot of inquiries and will probably sell it before the weekend.

The owner just email me to tell me that its sold but not picked up (?). You might want to phone him to verify that it's still available before making the trip to Dallas.

Good to hear! It such a great deal that I hoped a fellow Mudder would benefit from it. I'd buy it if I needed a trailer but I'm gettting a truck instead :)

Thanks, I picked it up this morning..it's in great shape. I just need to do a spring over and figure out how to lengthen the tongue.

So who was the one that picked up the Norcold 60 fridge off of craigslist for $395?? I was going to pick it up, but the guy said he sold it the night before. :flipoff2:

The plan is to lengthen the tongue, reinforce the tailgate, build a lid and/or rack/cage for the roof top tent. Just need some freaking time...

Nice Score!

I paid $250 for my 1944 Willys MBT and it needs some metal patched in. Yours is in much better shape than mine but it's not too bad for being 60 years old. I have hauled stuff in mine several times. Even had one old timer tell me that used one back in WWII over in Italy. Pretty cool.

Good luck with it.

that isn't a bantam trailer is it?
(they made a lot of the M-416-like trailers.... I forget if they were still called M-416's?)
