WILLING TO PART! HEad is rebuilt.

I had great plans to put the f.5 rebult head on my f engine but the f.5 has domed pistons and the f has flat so too much work to do the swap for minimal results. Even had an oldtimer that I was going to give the head to but he went another route.

The head has been rebuilt within the last few years.

Known issue: When I pulled the head, the rear most piston has some surface rust around the top of the mating surface. It should at least be cleaned off or possibly do a lower end build. No pitting. I traded some parts for this so I do not know much about it. Also comes with a stock manifold and a few other parts.

Since I have to state a price, lets say 60 bucks or BEST OFFER.

In Lemoore, CA 93245 will meet for gas money in Fresno, Visalia, or Stockton.
Trades welcome.
1)some two 33, 34, or 35" tires for stock 40 15" wheels (trailer tires don't need to have lots of tread).
2) one tan or light brown bucket seat for a 3rd seat in the back for my son (my front ones are from a Civc)
or what eve you got

That's about my luck. I have that same engine in my 74 FJ40 and it is really strong. I would love to have it for my 73 FJ55 that needs an engine but we are FAR apart. I live in Georgia and I bet shipping would be a killer.

Damn...I'm in LA and have a 74' with the F.5.....I want to get it just to have a project....but that's crazy....right? Just throw it in my van and drop it in storage? how much does that thing weigh? 400-500lbs?

The head alone must be over a hundred pounds :)
