TESTING Forum Skins...

Performing a bit of testing, seeing how this will work out....

At the bottom-left of the main 'MUD forums there will be a selection box...this allows you to select either the standard IH8MUD colors OR a Mobile text-only version. Experimenting for those who access the site via PDA or whatever.

Click on your "PM" box and you can access your User CP...then hit Options and turn off the attachments and avatars.

"should" speed things up quite a bit...

TESTING for a week or so only...couple people have asked about it...you DO lose much of the functionality of the forum, but for those following a specific thread while on the road, it's one clean-easy way to keep up...

If it's kept, the template will be edited to show a text-only version of our vendor banners...


BTW: this does NOT effect the TLCA sections of the site.

Black back ground?

I think that the black b/g is easy on the eyes. Maybe an option to change it in the user interface screen would be good. But i think the default should stay black.
