This will not help but I had both in my 1993 fzj80. I had Dobinson and recently swapped it with Terrain Tamer. Nothing but good things about Dobs and the Terrain Tamers are as good.

My LX450 has the stock Dobs lift that netted me 1".

My other 1997 fzj80 currently has OME and i Will be swapping it out with Terrain Tamer coils and Dobs IMS. Not a fan of OME, it rides on a harsh side.

My 200 has BP-51’s, but my 79 double cab has Dobinson’s MRR w/ 3” lift. The MRR shocks are super easy to adjust, and make a real difference. When it comes time to move on from the BP-51’s, I’ll use Dobinson’s on my 200.

You can't just say "Dobinson" they have a full range with three totally different lines of dampers and various static and dual-rate coils for various lift heights and load capacities. The basic twin tube yellow shocks are miles apart from the MRR 3-way adjustable remote reservoir shocks, for example. But in a general sense, Dobinsons are considered to be very good quality products with good customer support.

What don't you like about your Iron Man suspension in particular? What's your budget? How do you use your truck?

It just rides poorly. I will will go with the aftermarket upper control arm. Sounds like dobinson wins. I realize there are different tiers of kits. Being terrain tamer is available through George I was just curious.

I’m just driving on highways and gravel rd. But I want a nice ride for a long time so don’t necessarily want the cheapest. Don’t need to trash the last year they made a V8 and want to run it til I eat it. I appreciate the reply.

I purchased the Terrain Tamer to support @orangefj45 Georg and Rurk. To be honest i like their coils so much that im swapping my 97 with them

We have been installing the Terrain Tamer suspension kits, almost exclusively at our shop for the last three years. The fit and finish, right quality and tech-support for surpass any other brand we’ve ever tried. We’ve been in business for 20 years so we’ve installed our sheriff of suspension. Very impressed with these kits.

Train team are also has a US branch now so parts are easy to source. Feel free to give them a call.
