I got a set of pad and rotors from Cruiser Brothers (good communication, fast shipping; I recommend them) to replace the worn OEM stuff on my 2011 LX570.
I ended up removing the thin metal shim from the Terrain Tamer pads and re-used old Anti Squeal shim from the OEM pads.
Did I do the right thing?
The Terrain Tamer shim (top) is substantially thinner and the OEM shim (bottom). Also, the OEM shim has a layer of rubbery material sandwiched to the stainless.
