I'm shopping for the best tent option for my 101. There are several models of tents out there but looking for more. If you have links or photos of 101 with tents on them please post. I originally put a Venturecraft tent on mine, but need lots more room. I need a room that connects to the sleeping area.

Thanks for your help.

No pics, but i've been looking for quite awhile for exactly the same thing. Eezi-Awn Globetrotter is tops, but price new at $4115. Howling Moon makes a similar model right under $4K. Both have a built in annex and are designed for a trailer.

Any other RTT/w annex like an ARB Simpson III and knock-offs requires some sort of lift to put the tent above head height or mounting high to begin with which IMHO doesn't look good and increases wind drag.

Good luck with your search!

ARB Simpson III with anex on custom everything CDN M101. Best option for the price IMO. If I had the $$$ I may go for the Eezi-Awn

This is an Eezi Awn 2200 t-top Xklusiv. I'm pretty sure it is the biggest roof top tent on the market. There are five of us that sleep comfortable, 2 adults and 3 kids (2/4/6). Once the kids get bigger they can sleep in the annex or in their own tent.

Brent,

I really like the 3-Dog Tent. Having a hard time with contacting them. I also like some of the Aussie set-ups. It appears to me we will have to spend $3K and up to get a good constructed set-up.
I'm buying this set-up for my last tent and I want a good one. If I find others I will post here.

I remember when someone posted up info on 3-Dog. Fingers crossed having a Globetrotter inspected this week for purchase used.

Don't hold your breath. If it all goes thru, the tent will probably ship to arrive about the same time I'm going in for a total knee replacement. Doubt I'll be doing anything with the trailer or tent for about 2 months!

Three Dog Camping is coming out with some pretty top notch stuff as well..
