Heather posted comments on blue forum and elsewhere that a conversation was held with USFS and they have decided to close the area permanently. They have 45 days to file protest and if it does not get reversed the only recourse is to go to court. Lets hope the expense of court proceedings can be skipped but it is not looking good for Tellico at all.

I was kind of expecting that anyway.
I just hate that most of these guys never got to wheel there.
I'll really miss it.
Here's hoping the BRC and SFWDA can change some minds.
