While the guys were at OEX last weekend, I was at the other end of town at the Consumer Report Test Track with my daughter. If you have a driver under 18 get them to this program: Street Survival - Teaching Your Teen Driver to Survive From Behind the Wheel - Program Guide There are some up in NH and VT this summer.

Puts the kids in their car and lets them experience it at the limit. This is the stuff I learned the old school way by "borrowing" my brother's Fiat 124 Sport Coupe when I was 15. :steer: All the kids had the same grin I used to have.........except it was safe.

Any training where the first thing they do is slap numbers on your grandmother's Camry is good. :)

All the money in the world couldn't get me to do Drivers Ed with someone else.

She did well, especially still being on a learners permit. I did prep her in the dirt with the Chevy though. ;) By the end of the day she was wishing she had that V8 and posi rwd and not a 4 cyl fwd on the skidpad, the instructor was hitting the e-brake to liven things up.

I guess the kid that decided to try and pass the car in front of him up the street from my parents house going well over 100mph in a corolla, lost control, rolled several times, got ejected from the car should have taken that class, probably would be alive right now, looks like a great course.
