Josh! Josh! Josh!

You of all people should know better than to let you own brother go play in da MUD all by himself:lol:

is it electric or manual engaged most likley the selector let go not the chain

Looks to be manual, Big azz shifter in the transmission tunnel. if it is an electrical switch attached to the end of that monster it must be rated for the same amperage as the switch that lights up an electric chair.

Side note: lets just say I got some Staun beadlocks installed on my truck to day. And Lets also just say my truck is now sitting on the trailer on 4 tires that are loosing air around the valve stems at various rates. is there a way to reseal that from outside the rim? if i just take the nut and washer off, and put some of that weather stripping adhesive (the black rubbery stuff in the tube that gasoline wont take off) Let it rest with no airpressure overnight. then aired up in the morning would/could that work? I imagine if i just brought it back they would make it right, but that would burn up another day off and I am going offshore in two days.

Josh Josh Josh !!!!
don`t care what ya payed
take them MF`s back to who ever did the job
tell them to get there s*** together & fix It!!!!!!!!!
there is absolutely NO reason that you have a leak ---------unless they Fxxxed-Up!

this is NOT WHY YA HAVE ON- BOARD AIR:lol:

No

my good bud has bead locks on his rig and he leves him in his shop for mounths and when he puts them on he never has to air them up the dont leak!! bring em back!!

Well, Problem solved. The nuts on the valve stem for the air channels were not tight enough. they snugged them down and they are air tight now. I know I could have done it my self but I did not want to have a problem and then they say I caused it and they were not responcable.

4runner is sitting strapped down on my trailer still, I honestly think I am just going to pass on katemcy though...:frown: Last time I went anywere without club members present was Barnwell mountain last year and I can pretty much honestly say I have never had less fun offroading than I did that time... Wait scratch that: the mud bog, that was less fun. But still. I dont think I want to be in the middle of texas depending on the kindness of total random strangers to get my ass out of a crack.

EDIT :
Added some D-rings to the front of the runner to by the way so that getting my ass out cracks will be easier in the future since I will have real recovery points rather than just trying to atatch to points on the frame that "look" solid enough. if these come off it is taking most of my front clip with them my welder thinks :D:)

I am looking forward to it too man, Going to find out Friday if I will have a co-pilot for the trip :)princess:)

Right now I figure I have about 400-600 miles on the tires. for pressure I figure I am goign to start at 10, and work down from there. I figure i could run them down to 4-5 pounds but I want to keep some ground clearance.

Should I be able to see the torsion bars when I'm under my Cruiser? I've been reading up on the lift, and this weekend I'm getting the rear springs from Cole. I'm just trying to familiarize myself with everything. I do see the shocks.

Anyone?

Yes, start looking about where the back of the front doors are, underneath of course. You'll see two round bars going from what looks like a cross member going to the front control arms. Look for something like this without the red :)

Is there anybody good at drum brake? I went out and got me a new drum but did not change out the shoes. There is a noise on the right side of the truck. The shoes still look good. I hope it not my gears.I drop my my axle today to see if it was the transfer chain. It not that. Tomorrow i will rotate tires to see if noise goes to the front. Tire might be bad.

Just rotate tires noise still there. Going to buy new shoes.

Did my brakes today and they work :censor:good. I was going home when my transfer case chain broke :mad:I was checking is this a hard job to do. Yep that was the noise i been hearing:wrench:
