Hoping to do a valve adjustment and possibly replace my tie rod ends. Of those going on Saturday, do any of you have experience doing this?

Chris, I have never done tie rod ends before, but how hard could it be? (As the Cruiser gods laugh.)
It's all fun and games unless you pull a TRE and find the rod is so rusted out you don't want to reinstall it...
Is it too late to sign up for this?

I have a bumpstarter and will bring it if i can find it . You don't really need one though. Just put the truck in gear and bump it back and forth. You can also turn the engine with the accessory belt or by rotating the fan.

I can help you with the timing window. First thing you need to do is start stretching and then pray to the Cruiser gods.

Thank, guys, for putting this together. For as long as it took me just to change some fluids and rotate the tires, it would have taken me 3 times as long in the driveway!

What mishaps? Time to share.
There were no such mishaps. I just have a different wrenching style than some others.
I might have been a little to quick to say "screw it" and go after my oil filter with a screw driver causing the kindly mechanic working next to me some concern.
Also, I may have lowered a 4-post lift (w/ the 80 on it) onto a can of perfectly placed PB Blaster.
Again, not mishaps, per se.

:whoops:but you still have to know how to use them.
I think I own three. I just forgot to bring them with me. The mechanic dude had a cool 3-pronged filter wrench. Even he had a hard time with it.

Oil filter pliers. They work great.
