Aaaand this is why I don't have a cutting torch or gas welder.......
Holy crap! That's some scary s*** right there. I've had to transport bottles a couple times in my BMW when I had it. It was a bit unnerving! LOL
There are several things this guy did wrong...
1. the most important rule to transporting these tanks is to put the friggin metal safety cap on!! U can't bump it or break it with that cap on!
2. Don't leave a full tank in a small concealed non-ventilated space. If it does leak it has no way to disipate the gases
3. If u smell gas, GET THE F*^% OUT!
I mean if you are lucky enough that you didn't blow up when you opened the door when the switch for the dome light went 'click'... consider that one of your 9 lives. Now if you wanna keep gambling by starting the car, moving it outside and attempting to roll down an electric window then you're looking to be removed from the gene pool. Yes these tanks are dangerous but that is multiplied by 1000 when you don't follow the safety guidelines. That reminds me, I need to get more gas for my welder.

I'm sure all those doors, and alot of other small spaces in the truck had time to fill with gas and would have taken quite awhile to fully vent out. That picture is incredible! Talk about devastation...hell, I don't see a usable part anywhere. Scary.
