I have tha evil dexcool in my motor. I will get my order of Toyota Red coolant on Monday.
I want to make sure I have all the Dex out of the motor before I put in the Red.
If I flush out the system several times with tap water and leave in tap water over the weekend, will it cause any problems? Then on Mon or Tue, put in the red.

Tap water left in the engine for a short period will not harm the cooling system. Many people and even some mechanics use tap water instead of distilled water and leave it in permanently. Best practice is to use distilled water; it's cheap and plentiful at Wally world or your local supermarket.

When i flushed my cooling system 2 wks ago, i ran tap water for a few minutes.. then put a few gallons of distilled water in it and then the coolant....think you should be fine.. .in the past, being inexperienced, i used tap water and no problems......
