I am selling my 2002 Lexus LX470/100 Series Land Cruiser. I bought the vehicle from Copart with a salvage title one year ago when I was living in Phoenix. As a hobby I like to buy salvage Toyotas from Copart and restore them. This vehicle had a great service history and ran great, it just had cosmetic damage, so I bought it and fully restored it. This vehicle has arguably one of the most reliable powertrains ever built. A naturally aspirated V8 paired with a 4 speed transmission. Here is everything I have done to the vehicle:
-Installed a Aisin TKT021 Timing Belt Kit
-Replaced the Engine Thermostat and Housing
-Replaced the Engine Oil Seal
-Replaced all 8 spark plugs
-Flushed the engine coolant twice with distilled water and replaced it with fresh coolant
-Replaced the radiator
-Replaced the AC Condenser (prior owner replaced the AC Compressor)
-Flushed and recharged the AC system
-Replaced the Drive Belt
-Cleaned the Throttle Body and Replaced the Gasket
-Replaced the PCV Valve and the Grommet
-Replaced the MAF Sensor
-Replaced the Engine Air Filter
-Replaced the Fuel Filter
-Replaced all 4 ball joints
-Replaced both CV axles, both axle flanges and gaskets, both snap rings and both dust caps
-Replaced both inner and outer tie rods
-Replaced all the front differential supports
-Replaced front and rear sway bar bushings and linkage
-Removed the torsion bars, cleaned and greased them
-Greased the driveshaft
-Replaced gear oil in both differentials and transfer case and replaced all the drain and fill gaskets
-Replaced the rear upper and lower control arms and the hardware
-Replaced the rear lateral control arm (panhard bar) and the hardware
-Replaced the rear springs
-Replaced the muffler and tailpipe
-Replaced all 4 O2 sensors
-Bled the brakes
-Had all the windows professionally tinted with ceramic tint ($450)
-Replaced the cabin air filter
-Did a full swap of the transmission oil and replaced the filter
-Replaced three of the lock actuators with new ones, the other two got new motors
-All the tires match, two I bought new, two are older but still have good tread (Yokohama Geolander A/T)
-Replaced the factory subwoofer with an aftermarket
-Replaced the Nav DVD player with an upgraded Gen 4 and the most recent map DVD
-Replaced the wiper blades front and rear
-Replaced the rear tailgate lift shocks
-Only use Top Tier Fuel
-Only Hand Wash
-Only use OEM oil filter with Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage
-Prior owner had the ABS/Traction ECU replaced by the dealership (expensive)
-Interior is in immaculate condition for the age of the vehicle

Everything works! 6 Disc CD player, DVD player, Tape player, Homelink, Sunroof, Power Folding Mirrors, Power antenna, Hydraulic Suspension System.

Every clip, screw, bulb: if broken, missing or burnt out has been replaced.

Vehicle doesn't have any leaks and never had any since I've owned it. I've never had to fix a leak on any Toyota vehicle that I've ever owned.

This vehicle is ready to go a million miles!

Yes. I have pictures, CarFax, Lexus Service History and an email from the second owner who had it for most of its life.

Is it staying local? 😊

I'm keeping it for now. I'll put it back up in the fall probably. I'm going to do some brake work and some other things to it.
I wasn't sure how to delete the listing, so I just marked it as sold.

Nice rig, love the color; what head unit is that?
