While troubleshooting my marker fuse issue, one of my (repaired) tail light lenses finally gave up the ghost and came apart in my hands. So I'm wondering if anyone's used the aftermarket lenses that CCOT sells. I figure 20 bucks Vs. 60 for the OEM lenses is worth it if the fit and quality are decent. Unless Cdan can get a screamin deal on OEM lenses (hint hint Dan :D ).

Epoxy? I've got lots of little plastic bits held together this way...

I'm actually wondering the same thing. Ebay has them for $20 as well. Anyone chime in on this?

I bought a set of lenses from eBay for $20, and I will honestly say that they're worth about $.20. The plastic is more brittle and the fit is close, but not 100% right. Look around for someone parting a 60 or 62 and grab their lenses is possible. Otherwise try SOR.com

i got a set off of ebay as well. they are definitely not oem quality but are worth $30 for a set.

my old set of lenses are now my trail spares. i melted them together with a blue flame (torch) lighter a couple times.

not easy to find them off used 62s.

good luck

You can have mine for $3k, I'll even throw in a FREE FJ60!

I too bought the 'ebay' sellers lens ( actually bought left side from the seller)

w/i 3 years, 'replacement' lens was
pink for stop
milk for backup
dinge for turn

while 17 yr old factory ( right side) was still Red, Clear, Amber/Yellow

Ya git whatcha payfer

YODA, how long have you had them on there? time? miles? Just checking longevity on these.

my taillight gaskets leaked to begin with. both rotten. it is possible they were warped

i have only had them on for about 2 months. i wheel once a week. my taillights have had many encounters with trees and rocks.

they are not the same qualtiy as an oem light (color, strenght, ect.). i got them because they are cheaper and easier to find than used ones. i am also not worried about the looks of my crusier.
