Tail light issue

hi guys,

Strangest thing, when I turn the lights on the third brake light turns on and hte brake lights on the sides are off but the running tail lights are dimmed...

When I turn the lights of, and if I press the brake peddal the sound that signifies the lights on sound off...


What the heck... we have not had rain for several months, so it could not be water dammage...

Any ideas?

Is your factory wiring modified in any way? Sounds like something is shorted somewhere it shouldn't be.

No, no mods what so ever...

Any aftermarket trailer wiring adapter? Very often when the brake lights or turn signals go wonky, it's a trailer plug.

No, nothing, I did some research, apparantly it could be the bulb placemnt connector, they rust and bent that results in lose connection... will try fixing it tomorrow.
