Sidetracked again, finally started the diff cover on the bash guards. Bent the main piece in the press at work but I’ll get the marine fabrication shop 2 doors down to weld it together.

All welded up nice and neat! I changed out the bolts to a counter-bored arrangement as the countersunk bolts would become incredibly tight. Looks nice and neat still so I think I’ll counterbore the front 2 plates as well. Maybe now I should look at some gearbox protection.

Well done! Looks very tidy.

Did a solo overnight trip through a nearby national park this weekend. The park is not maintained and it looks like it’s seen minimal visitors in the last year. The tracks were eroded and overgrown with plenty of fallen trees over the tracks, I’m glad I got the diff protection done! The campsite at the top of the range is an amazing little spot though.

Got the eibach coils fitted up with the new top hats and spring seats. I just have to finish machining lower bushes and then I can finally get them installed.
