Thought it was interesting as a platform sibling to the LC250/GX.

I guess we know now that the TTv6 fits in the Taco and likely next gen 4Runner as well if Toyota wants to offer it.

What stood out here was that this is apparently a Tundra rear axle. And it doesn't look that wide. I'm not sure it looks any wider than the Tacoma one at all. The Tacoma body must be quite wide in the fenders. I'm assuming the GX/LC250 is similar. They must be darn close to full size width at the fenders.

And now the Tacoma is under the same umbrella? The rav4 can't be far from being considered similar. :flush:

It's all GA-F mix and match going forward it seems. Unless Toyota comes out with a narrow frame rail GA-F(2) chassis, there won't be a ton of variation between them. I think that's a win for the historically lighter duty models that get moved up to share the medium duty running gear with the LC. Might be a downgrade on the Tundra/Sequoia to lighter duty like the non-hybrid tundra downsizing to a 9.5 axle.

Coming to an overland expo near you. Has more RTT spots than seats and awnings for days!! Overland AF.
