I've gotta help a buddy of mine pull a mangled rear bumper of his daughters '95. He's wanting to save all the plastic covers and everything in case the bumper he gets doesn't have any. What will be involved in salvaging the parts and are there any tips or tricks I should know before hand?

He's also still looking for a bumper if anyone has one collecting dust in the garage

Thanks,
Mike

The plastic on top is help in place by some clips. If you get undeneath it you will see what I mean. I think the plate lights are held in with a screw and some clips, or just clips. Just take your time as to not break the clips off.

I will have a rear bumper available soon ( maybe next week) it is in like new condition of my 04 Tacoma. I am going tube style. PM me if you are interested.

Desert-Island as in MDI in Maine?

If so, and the other fella bails, I'd be interested in the bumper (in York...parents owned teh Bass Harbor Campground....)

Well not quite, while I like it up there and have traveled a bunch in that area. I am generally referring to my two favorite places world wide ;) The desert in AZ and the islands of the world.

I can remember me and my girlfriend being up in Maine in '99, camped out at that very campground. The weather was clear skys and in the 70's. ( we had good timing) The folks joked with us that "the weather is always like this up here" We new different :D Still love Maine, "The way life should be"

I think the bumper is spoken for - but I will let you know
