We are about 5 weeks out from the TAC event out at SMORR. Hope everyone is planning on showing up. I know my T-Case just showed up at Farmers shop and I need to start the process of getting it running. Hope everyone else is getting their ducks in a row.

Ahhh, fuel and food. Good to go!

Make sure you pack my orange handled snap on pic you got away with last year at GATOR.

I'll start looking for it now, I'm not sure if I have enough time to find it by then. :o

Get brakes working... get taillights installed, test run the new setup, check and make sure everything is tight, clean the camper, load the camper, buy food, GET REGISTERED (still gotta do that, but i did get my campsite reserved), check all the fluids in the rig... should be good to go.

Having very good brake pedal feel when the truck isnt running... soon as you start it, it's mushy. bled the crap out of them and still no air.... thats what i gotta figure out right now.

Found it

Marty and I got the transmission mounted back up last night. Pretty good wrestling match. Marty almost go pinned in the second period. If not for a great save. Took forever to get it to submit. Now I just need to mount up all the drive shafts and crossmembers along with the skid plates

Still got red dirt everywhere from texas. I dont know how you get rid of that stuff. My have to sand blast the underside to get it all loose.

Just replaced the idler pulley, the A/C clutch bearing, starter, the battery and now it is time for a beer! Frigen starter, the upper bolt was a pita. It finally submitted to my scrawny arms!!!!! Yea for me

Its not raining.

Bearing

how bad was that A/C clutch bearing... mine's starting to squeak.

Piece of cake, way easier than getting the starter out. That being said I also had the fan and shroud out for mx too. The snap ring is a pita, have a good mirror to get it out from the top.

Call Rex at 888-438-9534 he is in tucson for bout 30 bux shipped he will send you the bearing. I just followed his youtube vid, worked great and got rid of my annoying bearing noise. JT

Local bearing shop here in town. Took mine to him and I think it was $7. They can match anything

Well its back together enough to drive... still got some spongy brakes I need to figure out, besides that its ready to go.

thanks for the info on the bearing... i'll add that to the list

Brakes are fixed... truck is ready to go... still got some other stuff I'm going to try and get done before SMORR, but nothing that has to be done.

Also, with all the new stuff, I'm probably going to go down to Mark Twain on Friday and Saturday this weekend for a test run of the truck, make sure everything is good to go. Anyone is welcome to join.

I guess I could go and just have you tow me around. I could sit in my truck and pretend.

You dont need to but your always welcome. Got the transmission back in. Just need to bolt up drive shafts and skid plates. ALso need to add fluid to the whole setup. I am going to try and put a big dent in wed night again. If not I will have to finish up this weekend.
