synthetic oil in 13bt?

Hi guys! Is it safe to use a synthetic oil (Mobil1) in a 13bt? 150,000km. Are any of you guys running synthetic?

I have used mobil1 in all of my 3B/13BT for over 10 years. I dont see why you should have any issues.

Excellent!! Thats what I will be running then. Ive heard of synthetic creating leaks in high mileage engines that have been running dino oil in the past. My 13bt is relatively low mileage so im not too worried about switching over to synthetic.

Ok so I have put about 500km on my Mobil1 synthetic oil in my BJ74, no issues so far it seems happy

I have used, RED LINE, Mobil 1and a few others. I am a firm believer any turbo motor should use synthetics.
