It has been 2500 km since the ARBs air lockers went in and so time to change out the diif gear oils as per ARB instructions.

ATEB in Burnaby who are TLC experts use Amsoil Syn 85W-140, but I can't get it on Vacouver Island. Lordco have Red Line and Royal Purple and they say Royal Purple is better.

What is recommended -- look harder for Amsoil or use the Royal Purple or Red Line?

What about Mobil??

I don't know about the Island, but Lordco in North Van charges over $20 per litre for Redline or Royal Purple. I get it at Mopac for around $10.

I like Redline (the extra heavy shockproof works GREAT in a Harley transmission), but I doubt you'd go too far wrong with either.

FWIW you can get Amsoil delivered to your door, and likely for cheaper than Redline or Royal Purple.

Lordco quoted me $13 per US quart for either Royal Purple or Redline, after my 30% discount (show a truck club card) its about 9.10.

Are you saying that I can get Amsoil delivered ....? from who ?

Try an email to George Douglas, george@oilhelp.com, tell him where you are and what you want and see what he can do for you.

That's a good price for Redline though - wonder why my local Lordco is so far out of line?
