How do I use the @ symbol to refer to the post of another member? I've seen that in posts and assume that's why it's there, but I don't know how to use it.

From what I have leaned, because someone did it to me, is it notifies the person via Alert & Email if email alerts are set up.
So, if you want to draw in a certan person into a conversation I add in the @ sign. It also is a link to there mud page.
So click on mine @GW Nugget to see.

Hope this helps. If it does anything else I would like to know also.
