Just showed up near Geneva. Not mine, no affiliation, just a rare combination of features: Swing out rear doors, no fender flares, no sunroof or roof rack, solid rear side windows, 24-valve turbo diesel (1HD-FT), 5-speed manual transmission (H151), locking differentials front, center, and rear, vinyl floors and seats, manual crank windows, manual door locks, no ABS or airbags. Basically a third world type "poverty pack" but with premium engine/transmission/axles. Looks to be the same spec as mine. Lots of guys ask me where they can get one, so here ya' go.

This one's green (Dark Emerald Pearl 6M1), and the clear coat shows some fade/peeling on the hood and roof. Pretty sure it's original paint, though. The car looks to be unmodified except for the trailer towing equipment and aftermarket steel wheels. Interior is all gray vinyl (front seats have covers on them so I'd have to assume they're worn out). Vinyl floors, vinyl door panels, vinyl seats. No mention of rust in the ad, but it's a possibility in Switzerland so inquiries would need to be made by interested parties. The truck is equipped with a trailer coupling (all the 80's in Switzerland seem to have them), and the guy was using it to tow a horse trailer. If you want the trailer, BTW, the seller will make you a deal on it.

Diff lock switch is visible in the photos, as is the headlight leveling control. Can't tell if it has a/c--many didn't, so if you need it, you'd need to ask or add it. These cars do not have the climate control computer, just old fashioned slides and an on/off switch for the a/c, so it's not super complicated.

Unusually reasonable price for Switzerland at CHF25,000, which I think is about US$28,000 or so. Ad says it has 279,276km (or about 174k miles) on it. While this one definitely looks like it's been used, IME European Landcruisers are usually decently well maintained and you're less likely to find the bodged, improvised repairs that are common in less developed areas of the world. So there's that.

The seller's photos are all super low resolution, so I'd advise getting better photos before any money goes anywhere, but here's some pics from the ad:

If you're interested, but don't know how to proceed, PM me and I'll let you know what your next moves should be. I have no horse in the race--it's not my car, and I'm not an importer--I've just done it a few times and can answer questions about the process.
