I have a bunch of extra 40 parts that came with my project and have no need for most. Does anybody know of any swap meets half way close to the Davenport area? I would love to find a home for some of this extra stuff.

What do you have ??? post up maybe we can make a deal.

That would be a good idea.

There is a swap meet twice a year in Cedar Rapids, April and October at Hawkeye downs, but I have'nt seen to many cruiser parts there.

FJ 40 parts

I have a few parts left from my project, full set of original Springs, shocks, a set of nice white spoke wheels, 8" X 15" that fit a 40. Hardtop side window vent weather seal and some other odds and ends encluding quite a few used nuts and bolts. I will have to do an inventory. -Larry

Well I got 3spd bell housing, 4 spd bell housing, the passenger side seat bench bracket from early models, couple of the 4 bolt pattern master cyclinders minus the switches. set of 4 stock wheels, couple of bibs that could use a little work, some grill inserts, a bezel, set of tub sides, rear axle. I have pictures, if anyone is interested shoot me a PM with an email address and i can send them.

Landcrusher, I'm sure you could use a few more of these things to go with that engine you bought and haven't seen yet. Heres a link to most of the items. Let me know if you wanna add some more parts to fill the truck up when you come to get that motor.

Rob, I've still got plenty of room if you need anything else. ;) Just let me know.

We should just start referring to Tony's place as the self-storage unit! :) I think that you have housed parts for a few of us now, haven't you, Tony?

PS-Hope you and the fam are doing well. We'll have to make a trip down again once it's nice enough to play outside for a bit. It's a little bit chilly right now...

Yeah, but you've seen the place......it's not like I'm running out of room. Usually, the winter brings some campers that fill up the 40x60, but this year I've only got one down there along with the ear corn picker.

Sometime in the spring I'll be plowing, you'll have to come down then and you can hear the 630 working hard. Bring some earplugs if you want to run it :steer:

Sweet, it's a plan! Just let us know when. :)

No worries. I've got a couple other irons in the fire right now.

Anybody have 60 parts ? I bought an 84 FJ 60 and it needs tailgate , hatch , rear springs to start so I need swap meet parts.
Thanks
John

Matt Tarnow is the man for parts of all flavors... he's in the Quad Cities and you can get him at MidAmLandcruiser@qwestoffice.net

I have a bunch of 60 stuff having recently parted a couple, but no sheet metal... I'm in DSM

good luck

make a list and then take along extra cash too because you'll continually walk by stuff that reminds you that you need it too... it's a frickin candy store over there.

His stable of trucks is cool to see too.
