I am in need of some well thought out suspension advice. Looking for advice with a why, if you will. Need to know what you recommend and why you recommend it. assume I am willing to spend (parts wise), not more than $3,500 on the springs and shocks/struts but I suspect I will end up spending less as I am looking to avoid the downtime of rebuilds, etc.
My vehicle at build out will have, at all times:
Wheels (Alpha Equipt Command 17x8.5 with 33s)
Incognito Winch on Stock Bumper or Winch on Aluminum Bumper (Adds about 130 to 160 lbs total)
Dual Battery System and Charger in Front Engine Bay (Adds about 60 lbs over stock)
Roof Rack with Kinsman 270 Degre Awning and Road Shower (Adds about 200 lbs total)
Rear Cut Bumper with Welded Reinforcements (Adds about 25 lbs)
Rear Spare Mounts and Spare Wheel (Adds about 140 lbs)
Underbody Armor (Front, Xfer, Trans, Gas, and Rear Diff) (Adds about 150 lbs - some aluminum and some steel)
Full Time Back Cargo Area: Fridge, Drawer System, Misc "Stuff" (Adds about 200 lbs)
All told I'd guess I'm adding about 900-950 lbs to the vehicle not counting the wheel/tire weight.
Keep in mind that I already have - but not installed:
Stage 2 Metal Tech Air Bag Delete Kit
SPC Upper Control Arms
