I rearched my stock springs with the add-a-leaf packed in so the springs wouldn't break later on down the road but anyways it lifted the beast 1 1/2 inches do i need longer shocks Also I was thinking about adding another inch by using longer shackles, would I need longer shocks then?

Yes. You will also need longer brake lines, and swaybar linkage extentions. You should be able to run 33" tires with 3" of lift as well
