I am planning on modifying the suspension on my 1999 100, using one of the Slee packages that will also provide a lift. If you have modified and lifted your 100 or similar truck, please let me know the following:
1. How much did the on road ride deteriorate? Are long trips enjoyable? What is the difference in feel?
2. What benefits did you find in off road performance?

Thanks

What lift components will you order? Slee makes "Slee Packages" for the 80-series. He sells "name-brand" components for the 100-series (like you can get anywhere) though some use a combo of 100 and 80 components.

Whatcha getting? Will you load up your truck with accessories?

First: Welcome!

There are, as you will know assuming you don't or have not used the search feature of this forum (:D ) there are a number of variables to consider. But IMO the ride, within reason (tire choice being as or more responsible as anything else in the 'system' to ride quality) your ride quality won't suffer; the handling will be better; more control on and off trail from the suspension. In short (IMO) it is a win win. Now if you are not interested in lifting your rig just install 4-new Bilsteins and you will be real happy with the overall improvement to ride and handling.

Having said all that if you really like the marshmallow ride of stock and don't care at all about handling then leave it alone ;)
