Have any of you watched Man Vs. Wild or Survivor Man and see them wearing a bracelet? They look beefy, so I looked it up and found out they are made from 550 paracord. Paracord has a 1000's of uses. And can be used to secure load, in the high country, survival situations. Paracord has long been used by the military and outdoorsmen for an endless variety of task. The cord is designed for the line that suspends you from a parachute. It has a tensile strength of 550lbs. The cord is about 1/8" in diameter composed of a braided outer nylon sheath and 7 inner strands. The outer sheath has a tensile strength of 300lbs. and each inner strand a strength of 35lbs. In a survival situation the cord can be used to lash items together, hoist items up a cliff or tree, snares, shoe laces and many other uses. The inner strands can be removed and used as a fishing line, sutures etc. The uses are endless.

The best part is if you just unravel to tie something to a pack the bracelet can be re-braided very easily as long as it was not cut up.

I can do any color combination with the colors I have in stock. Custom colors will be 2 dollars extra and have a longer wait time. I will get a few pictures up when I get them.

The colors I have in stock are:

Orange
Blaze orange
Black
Gray
Desert tan
Coyote brown
OD green
Electric Blue
Light pink
Rust

single cobra braid contains about 1 to 1-1/2 feet of paracord per inch.
Double king cobra braid contains 2 to 2-1/2 feet per inch.
I don't have a huge wrist and mine is about 9 inches.
I get at least 1 foot per inch in my regular bracelets
the double cobra braid usually gets around 20 feet of the cord.

regular size cobra braid w/ plastic side release: $7
king cobra braid w/ plastic side release: $15
with stainless D-ring shackle: +$4
Please include wrist size with PM. Thank-you.

I also can make braided lanyards, key fobs, and zipper pulls.

I use paypal personal, keep in mind paypal takes 4% if you pay with credit card, they don't charge when you pay by instant bank transfer. I am not going to charge 4% extra just yet.

So, how many feet of cord are in the bracelet? One string or multiples?

What is the difference in the braid?

Single cobra braid is around 5/8 inch wide 1/4 inch thick and contain at least 1 foot per inch.
They are the same braid the double is just doubled back on itself. The two tone bracelets are two equal pieces of paracord. If you want a single color the bracelet will be one solid piece.

It's up to you to make sure you get the correct measurement. It's best to fit a string to how loose or tight you think you want it and measure the length of the string

I hope this size comparison helps.

I really like the D shackle

I've been trying to think of an easy way to carry around a few feet of paracord without it getting tangled up or in a situation where I need it and didn't have it. This is perfect.

The D shackle is pretty beefy, and can lots of uses as well if you deploy the paracord! It does add weight. They are 1/4 inch d shackles, marine grade stainless.

Reduced mud pricing for king cobra braid w/ D shackle.

Single color (20 solid feet of cord) w/ shackle 20.
two-tone (Two 10 feet sections of cord) w/ shackle 20.

These include shipping.

If you want a special color and pay ahead of time I will order that color when requested. A little longer wait but there are numerous colors.

So, do Mud chickies get an extra discount if they buy 'titty pink'?

What about fire? Breast Cancer? Prostate n others?

curious to hear your response...

interested, but not if yr a girl-hater.

That is a great idea sirenmoss! I hope I did not offend anybody by the pink statement. And no I am not a girl hater, that was the best description so people didn't think they were neon pink.
Like I said I can do any colors you want, I am just not going to order the rope until I get an order for it. It will take a couple weeks on special order colors. Once I get a few more sold I will add more colors. I just ordered some brown side release buckles and black buckles. I source the marine grade D-shackle at the local hardware store.

One thing I forgot to mention. The plastic side release buckles are 5/8 inch wide and contoured for fit.

Keep the orders coming guys! I will be busy weaving bracelets when I am not into my Criminal Law book!

Here is something I discovered while making a few today, with the D-shackle the bracelet is reversable so when you buy a two tone bracelet whatever color you want in the middle will be on the outside when you flip the bracelet over. This doesn't work with the side release buckle.

Kinda cool when your not sure what color you want in the middle.

I updated my colors list. I have electric blue, light pink, and rust on the way. Plus my regular colors.

By the end of the week I should have

Black
OD green
Foilage (blue/gray color)
Desert sand
Coyote brown
Blaze orange
Orange
Rust
Light Pink
Electric blue
