40° F outside. Started my LX450. drove for about 1 1/2 miles gradually getting up to 70 mph. Set Cruise Control then a vibration started similar to driving over the rumble strips leading up to a toll booth. Slowly applied brakes and pulled over. The vibration kept going until I stopped. Got out, looked around and nothing was wrong. Started going again, drove for the rest of the day, and the problem never returned.

Should I

1. Sell this Pristine 97 LX450 with 90,000 miles and never look back.

2. Pull apart the front end and replace everything that looks like a bearing

3. Or What??

Thanks in Advance,

Tom

Check your tire pressure. I had the same issue for 3 weeks and drove over 1500 mile before realizing that my right rear tire only had 8 psi in it. I am running a 315 BFG AT/Lo and even after several kicks and proding I only realized it after taking a guage to it.

How much, lockers? :D

Has the front axle service been done, or are you just looking for a hobby?

3. Or What??

Something stuck in the tire tread? Stop driving on the rumble strips? :D I would carefully check the tires then drive it, if the problem reappears then find and repair.

I'll send you $3.97 for it now delivered to nj otherwise why would you sell it? figure out the problem shees.

90,000 miles is nothing. Fix it and enjoy it for years to come.
